Compostable
Only compostable raw materials: PLA and Mater-Bi®, both 100% biodegradable and compostable bioplastics. PLA is a biodegradable and compostable bioplastic produced from renewable sources (corn, beet and sugar cane). Its excellent mechanical performance allows the use of low quantities of material. Mater-Bi® is a bioplastic mainly derived from various types of plant starches, it provides excellent mechanical performance and impermeability to gases and is compostable according to the European EN 13432 standard, 100% biodegradable.

Certified
The MQ line has obtained CIC (Italian Consortium of Composters) certification and TUV Austria certification, which guarantee the compostability of products in compliance with the EN 13432 standard. It turns into compost when subjected to recovery by industrial composting. Where provided by the municipality or local operator, the entire salad bowl can be disposed of in the organic waste bin. Instructions for the consumer are printed directly on the packaging.
